✨on a personal level to make the same item over and over again has a huge meditative benefit.. what we are really enjoying is seeing how the colours sing together 😊 this harmony is really unique to natural dyes as each dye plant has a combination of elements in its one colour and as the dyed yarns are crocheted together they find an affinity- a commonality to the yarn beside them and so produce these glorious soft glowing balls of hope 🤍🙏✨

✨the meditation poncho is an easy and rhythmic knit using only garter stitch but don’t be fooled - it produces a really uniquely shaped garment which can be worn in many different styles.
✨the fade kits contain 5 skeins of our Uir yarn which is a blend British fibre - 50% BFL and 50% Masham spun here in the UK. We have used a combination of local plants and ancient natural dyes to create the unique colour ways.
✨we can’t tell you how much we love this knitting project….we really hope you love it too 🥰
