Anam is a wonderful buttery dk or sport weight yarn.
We created this yarn to celebrate the connection Simon and I have. Simon is Australian, hence the ethically sourced merino, and I am Scottish so we added in some Shetland fibre! Blended together they create this really unique and very special yarn.
The word ‘Anam’ is Gaelic for ‘soul’ and ‘life’ which is what we have joined and blended together! We have so enjoyed creating this yarn and hope you find just as much enjoyment creating and making with it.
The skeins are 60g with approx 170 metres
Spun in the UK.
Hand dyed on Skye with botanical dyes.
