Introducing Meachair.
I feel we are late to the mohair party but we have got there eventually! It is so popular just now to either knit with on its own or hold a strand along side another yarn to make a luxurious & soft fabric.
‘Meachair’ is Scots Gaelic for delicate & soft which I think sums this textile up perfectly.
It is a decadent yarn but well worth treating yourself to.
It is a blend of 70% Kid mohair and 30 % silk
Each skein is 50g giving approx 420 metres or 400 yards.
Spun in the UK.
